First Trip to Asia | Destination Philippines - Caramoan

After having a great time in Macau we flew to Philippines,

On arrival at Virac Airport we took a tricicle for around 30 minutes trip to a small port to take a boat to Caramoan. The trip by boat took around 20 minutes to reach the Tugawe Cove Resort. Approaching the bay of the resort we were not able to see that there was actually something but natural forest. Just a few meters from the sand we got to see the roofs of the bungalows. Amazing!

There was a lagoon with sweet water on the other side of the beach and our bungalow was just next to the lagoon, but still surrounded by high trees. Oh my, sleeping there with the door open, listening the song of birds and some frogs was so, so goood and relaixing!

To get to the beach we had to pass on a wooden path above the lagoon, and to get to the restaurant there were around 200 stairs to climb! But the view from up there was breathetaking!

We've hired a local boat and went on a visit to some other islands near by - we went to the Catanaguan Islands (where the American edition of "Survivor" is filmed) and stopped for snorkeling at the bay of Pitogo Island.

The last day of our stay at Tugawe we went on a quick hike to the lighthouse on the next hill. And we were rewarded with a spectacular view!
