Saturday Brunch

There is one portuguese, let's call it "tradition", that seems very nice and cozy to me - the family lunch on weekends. It's amazing how the city seems empty during those lunch hours in weekens. Well, unfortunately we don't have any family member around, so we are not able to practice this such nice "tradition" (I am a big fan of "traditions" or simply, those things that keep you attached to your roots).

So, our decision was to organize a small, cozy brunch with some of our friends! I have to admit that I'm not really a cooking-loving person. As some call me, I am more "the master of salads" and I'm completely satified with that - it's fast and easy to make, and it's healthy! Yeay! But as every good host I had to preprare something to stand out... And as I am a super chocolate-loving person I chose to make my favorite (and super easy to make on Bimby!) muffins! They were very delicious! Even Amora can confirm it! And I decorated them in the Christmas-mood-theme of the living-room!

I used these very cute molds of a Snowaman, Christmas tree and a Bell I bought last year from IKEA. Believe me, it's really very easy to mold the icing sugar with them!

And of course, as it was a Christmas-themed brunch, I had to use something from my very new and festive Magic Pieces Collection!

And what are your plans for the weekend?

Hope you have a warm and cozy one!
